The timeless elegance of the Gräshoppa or Grasshopper Suspension Lamp was created by Greta Magnusson Grossman for the Danish label Gubi.
Since its launch in Copenhagen in 1967, Gubi has focused on using talented designers to create iconic furniture and lighting pieces of the future. It also reinterprets designs from its archives. During her long career in Europe and the United States, Grossman became known for industrial and interior design as well as architecture. Her iconic work is widely exhibited in museums such as the MoMA in New York and Stockholm’s National Museum.
